Varenya Prasad

Varenya Prasad is the co-founder of The Reset Room and a psychologist with a strong academic foundation and experience across counselling, clinical, and community mental health settings. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, along with formal training in counselling practice.

Varenya works primarily with adults and couples navigating emotional distress, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and life transitions. Her professional experience includes individual counselling, couples work, and mental health support across clinical and non-clinical environments. Her earlier work within substance use services continues to inform her understanding of emotional patterns and relational dynamics.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centred, with a strong emphasis on emotional safety, respect, and reflective exploration. Varenya aims to create a space where individuals and couples feel supported to build insight, strengthen connection, and move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

At The Reset Room, Varenya’s role focuses on shaping therapeutic services grounded in compassion, ethical practice, and accessibility.

Varenya believes meaningful change occurs when people feel heard, supported, and empowered to engage with themselves and their relationships with care and honesty.
